EXPLORE MYERS PARK CHARLOTTE
Known as one of Charlotte’s most prestigious neighborhoods and home to a revered academic institution, Myers Park is hands down, a city favorite. Located only a mile from Uptown and sprung out of the Myers cotton plantation, Myers Park was specifically created to become Charlotte’s “garden suburb” by the prestigious landscape architect John Nolen, which he executed superbly. This premiere area quickly became significant because it was home to many of the textile, banking, and utility leaders responsible for developing the Carolinas into a major American manufacturing region.

Not only has Myers Park grown into perhaps the most beautiful community in Charlotte, but it is also known for its fair share of restaurants, hometown pubs, retail boutiques, art galleries, and more! This notoriously family oriented neighborhood is full of outdoor activities, parks, gardens, museums, and highly regarded public and private schools.

The real estate in Myers Park definitely reflects the history and influence of this area. Along its winding oak tree lined avenues, you’ll see an architectural variety, most common of which are grand Colonials, brick Georgians, English Tudor, Craftsman and Bungalow-style residences. Despite the abundance of single family homes, Myers Park also has several upscale condominiums and townhomes.

Some notable attractions in Myers Park include: the Duke Mansion, Myers Park Country Club, the Butterfly Garden at the Charlotte Nature Museum, and Freedom Park.
