EXPLORE SOUTH PARK CHARLOTTE
Once a prosperous 3,000 acre dairy farm, the SouthPark area is now a sprawling district that has encompassed a large portion of South Charlotte. Its name derives from the largest mall in North Carolina, SouthPark Mall, which has been named one of the 4 best places for luxury shopping in the South. Due to the substantial growth seen in this area since the mall opening in 1970, SouthPark has consumed several bordering neighborhoods, making it an “edge city” and biggest district in Charlotte. Neighborhoods now considered as part of SouthPark include Barclay Downs, Beverly Woods, Quail Hollow, Foxcroft, Montibello, and Stonecroft. However, each of these neighborhoods still retain their own independent flair and unique attributes.

SouthPark draws in plenty of new residents with the plethora of corporate and small business opportunities. It also is home to countless shopping, dining, and entertainment establishments. This mini-city offers a wide variety of things-to-do for everybody at any age and any lifestyle. You could live here and never travel further than a 2-mile radius and find everything you need!

Real estate in SouthPark is plenty and full of variety. In the more centralized part, close to SouthPark Mall, you’ll find more contemporary and modern condominiums, townhouses, apartments, and mixed-use developments. When moving away from the mall, there are mostly single-family homes, townhouses, and more traditional style condominiums. Living options range in size and styles, from Charlotte’s signature Craftsmen Bungalow and traditional Ranch styles to new multi-million dollar estates

Some more notable attractions in SouthPark include: SouthPark Mall, Symphony Park, The Historic Morrocroft Manor, Phillips Place, and Piedmont Town Center.
